Additions to Coding Guidelines
- Deprecate C4::SQLHelper (Bug 11385)
How can we get "Bug 11944 - Cleanup Koha UTF-8" into Koha?
- A "proper" signoff would mean testing all of Koha, which is never going to happen.
- Suggestion: One or two of the "elders" of Koha (e.g. former RMs) take a look at it and if they and the 3.17 RM agree that the *methods used* are sound, it gets pushed into 3.17 as early as possible. Then we will have ~5 months to spot any remaning problems. --Magnus 03:32, 21 May 2014 (EDT)
- Another suggestion: We could organize a special bug squashing day for testing it, with a wiki page where everyone can note which parts/features have been tested. I think a group effort like this could be counted as a sign off as well. I'd like for this to happen early in the release cycle, so it can be pushed early and get more testing. I'd also encourage developers to use more diacritics/weird data in their testing. --Kfischer 03:49, 21 May 2014 (EDT)
