- Is the REST API optional or mandatory?
  - Bug 8030 - Change pickup location of a hold from patron record
  - This patch would make the REST API mandatory in order to use some 'basic functionality. I think we should discuss this and if we decide to do so take further steps, for example dependencies of the REST API are currently not listed as mandatory in PerlDependencies.pm, amend installation instructions for non-package installations... It looks like package installations have been taken care of:
  - Bug 17030 - Configure the REST api on packages install
- Is the REST API secure? (related)
  - Are we sure that people can't use it to get data out of the system they are not allowed to et access to? (permission checks etc.)
  - Bug 13895 - Allow users to renew their own checkouts/access their own checkouts
  - Bug 16815 - API routes to list, create, update, delete holds need permissions
- Highlight easy to test bugs for beginners
  - One suggestion is to use the 'academy' keyword all year long. Or maybe a new keyword?
