Instalando Koha 3.6 en Debian squeeze usando un servidor MySQL separado

La mayor parte de las instrucciones de Koha 3.6 en Debian Squeeze asume que instalara un servidor de base de datos MySQL local. Si va a utilizar un servidor de base de datos externo o independiente, es importante que usted no ejecute koha-create - create-db mylibrary. En su lugar, utilice los siguientes pasos:

• koha-create --request-db mylibrary

Background

Installing_Multiple_Instances_of_Koha#Koha_on_a_remote_DB has some relevant info, but if your database server is set up as per MySQL best practices (i.e. non-local root logins disabled), the instructions there will not work.
