Voting
At the 7 December 2016 Koha General IRC meeting, it was proposed to start soliciting bids in mid-January 2017 for hosting KohaCon18 with the issue of when to hold a community wide vote on candidates deferred to a future time.
See Processes for KohaCon for rules previously established for proposal eligability, voting, etc. Take special notice of the "Continent rotation". KohaCon was held in Europe in 2016 and Asia in 2017.
With only one bid for 2018 there was no formal vote held. Dates were announced on the mailing list: https://lists.katipo.co.nz/pipermail/koha/2017-November/049339.html
Decision
KohaCon18 will be held in Portland, Oregon USA. Conference will be held September 10th through 12th and Hackfest 14th through 16th. - Conference Website
