Template:Please ping/doc

Template:Substitution This template is intended to be used when you are replying on a high-volume discussion page, and intend not to add the page to your watchlist, instead expecting people to link to your user page when replying to you. It may be either substituted or transcluded, but is better substituted, as it will include your username and help talk pages load faster.

Usage

:::: Your message {{subst:pping}} ~~~~

This will display (please use {{ping|Example}} on reply).

When used without substituting, it will display Template:Pping.

Parameters

• 1: If set to no, will display Template:Pping

Example: Template:Tlxs

• tps: If set to yes, will display Template:Pping

Example: Template:Tlxs

• nw: If set to yes, will display Template:Pping

Example: Template:Tlxs

• big: If set to yes, will display message at the normal text size rather than small: Template:Pping

Example: Template:Tlxs

• thanks: If set to yes, will display Template:Pping

Example: Template:Tlxs

• cond: replaces "on reply" with a custom condition under which you'd like to be pinged

Example: Template:Tlxs generates Template:Pping
